Jabari Cook

Jabari Cook is a freshman double majoring in Political Science and International and Area Studies with a minor in Philosophy. Growing up in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, his interests have always lied in international politics and foreign language, but after taking multiple art history and philosophy classes in high school, he discovered his passion for studying fine arts as well. Jabari is specifically interested in studying the unique ways in which political and social issues are manifested in art, and luckily by performing archival research under Professor Jennifer Josten of the History of Art and Architecture Department, he gets to do just that!

At HAARCH!!! Jabari will be presenting parts of the archival database he has been building to help Professor Josten with her upcoming book on political posters from post-revolution, 1960’s Cuba.
