Sean Echnat is a Pittsburgh native and a senior majoring in Architectural Studies. He began his time at Pitt knowing he wanted to be involved with the design of buildings and started his studies with civil engineering. His interest in the history of architecture along with its form made him wary of his original decision so he decided to switch majors in order to pursue his passion of design and to escape the lack of creativity in engineering. The experiences within studio has fortified his decision and has made it clear to him what he wishes to pursue. Sean has taken an interest in sustainable design within architecture and is ambitious on attending grad school to receive his masters in Architecture and eventually becoming a licensed architect.
