Annie Abernathy

Annie Abernathy is a sophomore, majoring in the History of Art and Architecture and pursuing minors in Museum Studies and French. Currently, she is an intern at the Carnegie Museum of Art where she is conducting preliminary research for an upcoming exhibition on art and economic inequality. This semester she has also been awarded the Archival Scholar Research Award and is researching materiality and identity in artists' books and zines in the Frick Fine Arts Library collection. She will be presenting this project as well as sharing her on-going research from Professor McCoy's class, focusing on mobility and exchange within Chinese objects in the University Art Gallery collection.
