Dheeraj Jalluri

Dheeraj K. Jalluri is a senior Neuroscience major from Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, with a strong interest in art history, philosophy, and related disciplines. His interests in art history have been sustained greatly by an interdisciplinary research project he has been pursuing at Pitt under the guidance of Dr. Alison Langmead and the Visual Media Workshop. Elsewhere on campus, Dheeraj works as the president and publisher of a student-run creative science and health magazine, The Pitt Pulse, and he serves as a board member of both the Coalition of Pre-Health Students and TEDx University of Pittsburgh.

Dheeraj will be presenting his research, supported by the Brackenridge Fellowship, on whether certain characteristics of artwork can be predictive of aesthetic experience.
