Biography
Harisa is a graduating senior pursuing a major in Architecture and certificate in Sustainability. Having passions for design, equity, and climate action, she has found architecture to be a great culmination of these disciplines. Outside of classes, she currently works as a landscape designer and is involved in the department’s Design Justice Initiative and AIAS.
Harisa will be presenting her Design Studio 3 project that was done with Trevor Wischerman. The studio has a focus on sustainable architecture and urban design. Their project’s concept revolved around the biological theory of emergent behavior and how that could be reinterpreted into facilitating different scales of community interaction in social housing.
