At HAARCH!!!, Ilana will be presenting on her internship with Dr. Erin Peters at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. She worked on the ongoing “Egypt on the Nile” (the new Egypt exhibit at the Carnegie) collecting visitor reactions and responses in the form of formative audience evaluations. These responses were used to provide feedback and suggestions for the future design of the new ancient Egyptian exhibit. The study completed focused on the Carnegie funerary boat and a special design that hopes to create a more interactive and engaging experience for the museum visitor.
