Madeline Schatten is a junior at the University of Pittsburgh minoring in French, Mediterranean Archaeology, and Museum Studies. While growing up in Pittsburgh she developed a passion for museums, especially the Carnegie Museums. Madeline spent the last semester interning at the University of Pittsburgh Art Gallery, where she worked under the University Art Gallery curator Isabelle Chariter. As an intern, Madeline conducted provenance research in order to update the UAG database to include past exhibitions from 1967 onward, and created an online exhibition for the 2014 exhibition Configuring Disciplines.
